Richard Clarke
Chief Technology Officer
Richard has over 25 years experience in the IT industry spanning 5 countries. After graduating from Canterbury University with a degree in Computer Science and Operations Research, Richard worked overseas for several years. In late 1992 Richard and his wife Deleece relocated to Nelson from London and established PolyMEDIA.
Richard spent five years working for Touché Ross in London as the technical lead for their audit technology department. After the merger with Deloitte, Richard was involved in an international project to merge products and software development, and spent significant time working in Amsterdam and Princeton, New Jersey (USA).
Richard has been involved as a founder and at the CTO level for several US based corporations delivering fast, scalable web applications. He has extensive experience at senior levels, including working alongside Mark Cira to take SureClose.com from start-up to the leading real estate transaction platform acquired by Fortune 700 company, Stewart Title in 2004. His expertise also spans enterprise level infrastructure, compliance, security and stability. He maintains strong skills in technology strategy, architecture and development.
In 2007, Richard teamed up with Mark Cira once again, this time to transform the way businesses publish and communicate, by marrying 1-to-1 digital publishing to CRM on-demand.
Richard leads Print Sf's technology team, which operates from offices in Carlsbad, California and Nelson, New Zealand. Richard and Mark also jointly operate FuseIT, which has successfully delivered solutions to corporations of all sizes across the USA and New Zealand for more than 10 years.
